Bushmills Rare Casks No. 4 is a 31 year old single malt Irish whiskey and a limited release. It matured first in bourbon and sherry casks, then went into American oak casks for further ageing, giving a whiskey of rich fruit complexity and deep character.
It comes from the Old Bushmills Distillery in the village of Bushmills. Official records date to 1608, when the area was granted its licence to distil, and whiskey is still made there today.
