Cachaça Pitu is a Brazilian cachaça from the Pitu distillery in the northeast of Brazil. It is made by fermenting fresh sugar cane juice, rather than molasses. It has a clear colour and aromas of raw sugar and fresh notes. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with harmony between sweetness and acidity. It can be used in cocktails such as the Caipirinha or enjoyed chilled on its own, and is suited to social occasions.
