This is a 16 year old Glen Spey single malt, distilled in 2009 at the Speyside distillery in the village of Rothes. It was bottled in 2026 by the independent bottler Cadenhead at 46% ABV, in a small release.
The whisky first matured in bourbon casks. In 2022 it was moved into fresh Amontillado hogsheads for further ageing.
On the nose there is rhubarb and custard, red wine and orchard fruit. The palate brings red apples, mango sorbet and ginger cake, and the finish has cardamom, clove and orange.
