This is a 15 year old Miltonduff from the 2009 vintage, bottled by Cadenhead in its Chairman's Stock series. It is a Speyside single malt.
The whisky has been double matured, moving into a refill red wine barrel in 2018 for the second part of its maturation.
The nose shows red plums, berries and toasted oak. The palate is full-bodied, with dark cherries, dark chocolate and distinct tannins. The finish is long, with warm spices and fruit jam.
