This is a 17 year old single malt from a Speyside distillery, bottled by Cadenhead in its Original Collection in a 70cl bottle. It was fully matured in refill butts.
The whisky is savoury with a hint of spice. The nose offers Medjool dates, mocha, nutmeg, walnut, pistachio, heather and passion fruit. The palate brings cinnamon, ginger, marzipan, butterscotch and pumpernickel bread. The finish runs to aniseed, brandied cherries, rye toast and dark chocolate.
