This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt from Craigellachie-Glenlivet, bottled in 2025 by the independent bottler Cadenhead's for its August Collection. It matured entirely in refill Oloroso hogsheads and is bottled at 46%, with no added colour and without chill-filtration.
The distillery stands in the village of Craigellachie, a name that means 'rocky hill'. A long fermentation keeps the fruitiness of the spirit, and tropical, floral notes emerge as it matures.
This bottling has a sweet, fruity base with savoury nuances alongside.
