This is a 12-year-old oak matured single malt from Craigellachie-Glenlivet Distillery, bottled by WM Cadenhead as part of its Original Collection. The casks were chosen from the company's warehouses in Campbeltown.
The vatting is made up of 65% refill sherry butts and 35% fresh Madeira casks.
On the nose it is typically described as peaches, toffee sauce and demerara sugar. The palate brings cherries, plums, date and walnut cake, and the finish moves to icing sugar, biscuit base and barbecue doughnuts.
