A single cask Mannochmore from Speyside, aged 10 years and finished in an ex-bourbon octave, bottled for the Scotch Drinkers Only range. It comes at a natural cask strength of 58.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle, from an outturn of 64 bottles, and is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
The octave is a small cask, and the finish adds creamy vanilla, honeyed sweetness and gentle spice to the distillery's orchard fruit character.
On the nose there is green apple, ripe pear, vanilla custard and honeycomb. The palate is rich and creamy with butterscotch, baked apple and lemon zest, and the finish is long and smooth with vanilla cream, honey and citrus peel.
