Burnside is a 28 year old blended malt Scotch whisky from Cadenhead, Scotland's oldest independent bottler. As a blended malt, it is made from single malts alone, with no grain whisky added.
It was matured exclusively in bourbon casks and is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and free from artificial colouring.
The nose is vanilla, honey and toasted oak, with hints of citrus and ripe stone fruit. The palate brings creamy butterscotch, tropical fruit and gentle spice, and the finish is long and warming, with caramelised nuts, light florals and oak spice.
