Cadenhead's 'Enigma' Orkney 8 Year Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl)

This is an 8 year old blended malt from Cadenhead's Enigma series, which gathers bottlings that do not fit the usual range, from single casks to vattings and blends. It comes from a distillery on the Isle of Orkney and was matured fully in Bourbon barrels. It is bottled in a 70cl bottle. The character is sweet and fruity. The nose offers tropical fruit salad, chewy toffee bar and shortcrust pastry, while the palate brings papaya, guava, plantain, croissant and syrup. The finish is tangy, with Himalayan pink salt and ripe banana.
