This is a Speyside single malt from Glen Spey, bottled by Cadenhead's in its Original Collection at 46%. It was distilled in 2009 and bottled in August 2026. In 2022 it was moved into fresh Amontillado hogsheads, which give it a dry, nutty edge.
The nose offers rhubarb and vanilla custard, a light winey red wine note and ripe orchard fruit. The palate brings crisp red apples and mango sorbet, followed by a warming ginger cake spice. The finish is long, warm and spicy, with cardamom, cloves and orange, and a gentle citrus bitterness.
