Cadenhead Teaninich 10 Year Old Single Cask Specialists' Choice (57.5%)

This is a single cask Highland single malt from Teaninich, selected by WM Cadenhead for its Specialists' Choice series. It was bottled after 10 years at a cask strength of 57.5% ABV. The golden colour is natural, and Cadenhead states that it does not use added colouring or chill filtration. The nose is citrus, green apple and spicy grassiness, with floral hints, biscuit, white pepper and nutmeg. On the palate there is lemon peel, ripe pear and soft tropical notes, with malt, grain and an oily texture. The finish is long and warming, with citrus and spice, a touch of oak and a dry, nutty end.
