This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt bottled by the independent bottler Cadenhead for its Virtual Open Day 2020. It was released in the year Covid-19 prevented the usual open day events in Campbeltown.
The whisky was distilled in October 2001 and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It was bottled in October 2020 at 52.3% abv, and only 552 bottles were filled.
The character leans towards sweeter sherry notes with a warming, festive spice.
