Callisto A is a 15 year old Scotch whisky bottled by Scotch Universe at 56.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024.
The whisky matured in a first fill Oloroso hogshead, which shapes the bottling. Because it is bottled at a high strength, the profile stays concentrated, and a few drops of water can open it up.
The cask brings dark fruit, a sweetness from the wood and spicy oak.
