Cambus 34 Year Old is a single grain Scotch from the Lowlands, distilled in September 1990 and bottled in August 2025 by Master of Malt at 47.2%. It is a single cask release in the Masterpiece Collection, with 259 bottles of 70cl.
It matured first in a refill barrel and was then finished in a rum cask. It is bottled without added colour or chill-filtration. Cambus closed in 1993.
The nose offers fruit salad, browned-butter biscuits, maple syrup pancakes and candied nuts, later waffles, waxy citrus, leather and polished oak. The palate is fruity and citrusy, with honey, melon, a hint of lychee, buttery caramel and fudge. The finish brings leather, oak and cigar-box spice with beeswax.
