This is a 31 year old single grain Scotch whisky from Cambus, bottled for James Eadie. It was distilled in May 1993 and matured in a first-fill sherry butt before bottling in 2025.
The butt yielded 349 bottles, each at a cask strength of 50.9% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers sweet syrup, dried dates, raisins and toasted grain with fine oak. On the palate the body is firm but balanced, with dark plums, malt sugar, caramelised hazelnuts and sherry sweetness over a spiced grain note. The finish is medium in length, with nuts, dark fruit sweetness and noticeable oak.
