Cambus – 31 Year Old 1992/2023 First Ghost Macbeth Elixir Distillers (70cl, 46.2%)

Cambus First Ghost is a 31 year old single grain whisky distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2023 at 46.2%, in a 70cl bottle. It matured in oak, and 650 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. It belongs to the Ghosts series within the Macbeth Collection, which brings back distilleries that have already closed. The Macbeth range is a collaboration between the Scottish designer Lexi Livingstone Burgess and Elixir Distillers, with illustrations by Sir Quentin Blake showing a different figure from Shakespeare's tragedy on each bottle.
