Caol Ila 12 Year Old is a peated single malt from Islay, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery takes its name from the Gaelic for the Sound of Islay, the stretch of water separating Islay from Jura, in one of the wildest parts of Scotland's western coast.
The whisky is both balanced and subtle, iodine-led and peaty, with notes of olive oil, almond and citrus.
