A 16 year old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, distilled in 2008 and bottled by Bedford Park from a single first-fill Palo Cortado sherry hogshead. It is one of 163 bottles, in a 70cl bottle.
The cask pairs the peaty salinity of Caol Ila with the sweetness of Palo Cortado sherry. The label was designed by Toronto-based artist James Tuer, who reimagined the maple leaf with branching lines, and the bottling was made to be shared across Canada.
