Capel Especial is a Chilean pisco from the Capel brand, which was founded in 1964. It is made from Muscatel grapes blended with partially fermented juice of Pedro Jiménez and Torontel grapes, all selected by hand.
The wine is double distilled, then aged for four months in American oak and in casks of rauli, a tree native to Chile. This ageing gives a softer, rounder spirit that stays on the palate.
