This is a peated 18 year old Speyside single malt from Caperdonich, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle as part of the Secret Speyside Collection. It was matured in American oak.
Caperdonich distillery was dismantled in 2011 and is closed.
The nose offers bonfire smoke, poached pears and hot tar. On the palate come baked apple pie, smouldering driftwood, orange zest and aromatic smoke.
