This is an 18 year old peated Speyside single malt from Caperdonich, matured in a single barrel and bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was released as part of the Secret Speyside Collection.
Caperdonich was dismantled completely in 2011, so the distillery is closed.
The nose is described as bonfire smoke, poached pears and hot tar. On the palate come baked apple pie, smouldering driftwood, orange zest and aromatic smoke.
