This is a 1991 Caperdonich single malt from Secret Speyside, matured in American oak hogsheads. It was bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is sweet, with strawberries, ripe peach, apricot jam and honey, and a hint of mint. On the palate come blueberries and baked apple crumble, followed by chocolate, chai tea and ginger. The finish is rich and spicy.
