This is a 1992 Caperdonich from a Speyside distillery that has since closed, bottled as a single cask by Berrys' Own Selection. The whisky was matured for 20 years.
The nose brings apples, banana and honey. The palate is balanced and fruity, with a little peat smoke that comes as a surprise, and the whole is full-bodied. The finish is soft and long.
