It comes from a single oak cask, number 7449, and was bottled at cask strength, 47.8%, in a 70cl bottle. Only 158 bottles were filled. Caperdonich closed in 2002 and was demolished in autumn 2010. The nose is nutty and vanilla-led, with fern and moss. The palate is piny, sappy and herbal, with citrus, bitter oranges and grapefruit, and a fresh, zesty feel. About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
