Cardhu 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Cardhu was the first distillery to be officially pioneered by a woman, and this much-loved 12 year old is an easy-going, charming Speysider. It is burnt amber in colour.
The nose has good body, with decent sweetness and richness, streaks of smoke, apple peels and bruised pears. On the palate it is smooth and rounded, with gentle sweetness, soft peat and a little smoke.
