Cardhu 12 Year Old is a single malt from a 2000s bottling, in a 1 litre bottle. It is straw in colour, with clean, crisp oak and sweet malt that bring to mind honeyed flapjacks and home-made caramel squares. Cardhu is the biggest-selling single malt in Spain. The nose is caramelly, with fresh apples, oak and whiffs of incense. The palate is malty, with caramel, cake, plum jam and sugared cereals.
