Cardhu 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the distillery once called Cardow, set high on the hills on the north side of the Spey Valley. The bottle is decanter-like in shape, with a beechwood stopper.
The malt is smooth, sweet and mellow, with good body and length, and its clean taste is often described as silky.
Clean, crisp oak and sweet malt bring to mind honeyed flapjacks and home-made caramel squares.
