Cask Masters Distiller's Cut Glen Spey 13 Year Old Single Cask (70cl, 56.7%)

This 13 year old single cask Glen Spey is part of the Distiller's Cut within Brave New Spirits' Cask Masters range, bottled at 56.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Distiller's Cut bottlings are left at or just below cask strength. It matured in a first fill white wine barrique, and 230 bottles were filled. It is un-chillfiltered and without artificial colour. A malt presence keeps the whisky grounded, with bread and butter pudding coating the palate. The nose has sultanas and brioche. The palate is clean and sweet, with bread and butter pudding, creamy malt and white pepper. The finish is long and rich.
