A red Salice Salentino Riserva DOC from Castello Monaci, made mainly from Negroamaro with a small percentage of Malvasia Nera. The grapes are selected and hand-harvested, then vinified with techniques combining tradition and innovation, followed by ageing in wood and further bottle ageing. It has an intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The nose shows mature red fruit, spices, tobacco and chocolate, while the palate is full-bodied with silky tannins and a long, satisfying finish.
