Catto's Rare Old Scottish Highland Whisky is a 5 year old blend, distilled, blended and bottled in Scotland by James Catto & Company of Renfrew. It is bottled at 40% in a large 2 litre bottle. The blend uses a high proportion of Speyside and Highland malts. The nose is fragrant and bright, with high notes of honey and fresh citrus over soft ripe fruit and floral hints. The palate is notably sweet and honeyed, with a balanced, rounded body and none of the sharpness often found in young whiskies. The finish is clean and soft, with faint traces of oak.
