Cawdor Springs (Royal Brackla) 10 Year Old 2016 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead Cask #282 (54.2%)

This is a Royal Brackla single malt from Speyside, released under the Cawdor Springs name by the independent bottler Best Dram. It was distilled on 19 April 2016 and matured for ten years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead, cask #282. Bottled on 22 April 2026, it yielded 302 bottles at a natural cask strength of 54.2% ABV, with no chill-filtration or added colouring. The nose is usually described as brown sugar, dark cherries and dried raisins. On the palate come cinnamon, clove, pepper and a little almond.
