An 11 year old single malt from Mannochmore in Speyside, bottled by Chapter 7 Whisky in its Monologue range at 52.5% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in December 2008 and bottled in September 2020, from a bourbon hogshead that gave 338 bottles. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. Mannochmore was long a major contributor to the Haig blends. John Haig & Company managed the distillery until 1985, when it was mothballed, and it reopened in 1989. The nose is lemon curd, lemongrass, brioche and baker's yeast. Orange marmalade, lavender honey and freshly baked baguettes come through on the palate, and the finish has Chardonnay, fresh coconut and sweet mandarins.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
