This is a single cask Glenburgie from Speyside, distilled in 1998 and matured for 23 years. It is the Pawn edition of The Chess Malt Collection, bottled at a natural cask strength of 54% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The nose brings dried fruit, almond, vanilla and soft oak, with floral and lightly spicy notes. On the palate are honey, baked pear and malt, with a touch of caramel and spice. The finish is long and warm, balancing fruity sweetness with spicy dryness.
