A classic, fresh and vibrant Chianti DOCG from Serristori. It shows red fruit, a trace of violet and Mediterranean herbs on the nose, with good acidity and well-defined but never oppressive tannins. The palate is clean, with cherry and undergrowth notes, freshness and a savoury, slightly spicy finish. It suits traditional Italian dishes such as ragù, grilled meats, medium-aged cheeses, mushroom dishes and pizza, and is best served slightly cool at around 16-18 °C.
