A Tuscan red wine made from Sangiovese. It shows fresh cherry and violet petals, with light aromatic herbs and a savoury note. The palate is lively, with fine tannins and contained softness, giving a balanced, flowing wine of medium body. The finish is pleasant, with fruity returns. It pairs naturally with rustic pasta dishes, grilled meats and semi-aged cheeses. Serve around 16-18 °C and open a few minutes beforehand if preferred.
