Chicken Cock Ryeteous Blonde is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey made in Bardstown and finished in blonde ale barrels from Goodwood Brewing, who partnered with Chicken Cock Whiskey on it. It is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) and revives a 2020 release.
The nose is malt sweetness with honey, light citrus and a touch of oak. The palate has rye spice with caramel, vanilla, malted barley and honeyed ale. The finish is crisp, with a light hoppiness set against warm rye spice.
