Chivas Regal 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky made from malt and grain whiskies, the youngest of them matured for 12 years. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a one litre bottle.
The blend is described as having a rich Speyside character.
On the palate there is honey, ripe apple, pear and vanilla, with hints of hazelnut, butterscotch and soft oak spice. The texture is creamy and the finish mellow.
