Chivas Regal 12 Year Old (1L, 40%)

Chivas Regal 12 is a blended Scotch whisky made from malt and grain whiskies, with the youngest components matured for at least twelve years. Strathisla single malt forms the heart of the blend, joined by grain whisky from Strathclyde. This is a 1 litre bottling at 40% ABV, and it contains caramel colouring and is chill-filtered. Chivas Brothers, whose story began in Aberdeen in 1836, selects, blends and bottles it. Chivas Regal 12 reached the market in 1938. The nose brings wild herbs and heather with honey and orchard fruit. The palate is round and creamy, with honey, ripe apple, vanilla, toasted hazelnut and butterscotch, and the finish is full, velvety and lasting.
