Chivas Regal – Extra 13 Year Old Rye Cask (70cl, 40%)

Chivas Regal Extra 13 Year Old Rye Cask is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. The 13 year old blend is selectively finished in American rye casks, which add new and contrasting flavour notes to the Chivas blend for the first time. The name looks back to the Chivas brothers' emporium at 13 King Street in Aberdeen, where they imported spirits, exotic spices and luxury foods from around the world. The release also nods to Chivas Regal's arrival on the American shoreline in 1909. It is described as an extra mellow blend with long, mellow flavours.
