This is Chivas Regal Mizunara, a blended Scotch whisky finished in Mizunara oak casks from Japan. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The Japanese oak adds a subtle spice to the blend. The nose is sweet orange and ripe pear with a gentle floral note. On the palate there is honey and creamy vanilla, then spice with a touch of hazelnut or sandalwood.
The finish is long and warm, with a gentle spice that lingers.
