Royal Salute 21 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky from Chivas Regal, made from whiskies aged for a minimum of 21 years.
The brand was created in 1953 to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Its name comes from the 21 Gun Salute fired at the Tower of London on royal occasions, which is also the origin of the age of this expression.
