Clase Azul 2025 Día de Muertos is an añejo tequila and the final edition of the Nuestros Recuerdos series. It is aged for 26 months, first in American whiskey casks and then finished in Scotch whisky casks from Skye and Speyside before recombining. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
The decanter is a plum-coloured ceramic piece with a 24K gold-plated movable Catrina ornament, handcrafted in Tesistán, Jalisco, and only 10,000 decanters were allocated for this edition. The nose shows honey, peat smoke, nutmeg and dried plum. The palate brings smoke, honey sweetness, cinnamon and hints of chocolate, with oak influence from both American and Scotch barrels. The finish is smoky and lingering, with honey, spice and chocolate.
