Clase Azul Reposado is a reposado tequila aged for eight months in used American whiskey barrels. It is presented in a hand-painted ceramic decanter with cobalt blue accents.
The tequila has a smooth, rich profile with strong vanilla, caramel and cooked agave notes, softened by the barrel ageing. Its flavour leans sweet and silky, with a touch of fruit and spice.
It is suited to sipping neat or over a large ice cube, and pairs with grilled meats, citrus-glazed seafood, caramel or chocolate desserts and creamy cheeses.
Tasting Notes
Cooked agave, agave nectar, strong vanilla, hints of candied orange peel, toasted wood, subtle hazelnut and light baking spice
Sweet at first with vanilla and cooked agave, followed by butterscotch or caramel, touches of orange or citrus peel, oak and soft pepper or spice; silky and rich texture
Lingering and smooth, with vanilla and oak and a sweet-spice aftertaste
