A 22 year old single grain whisky from Port Dundas, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle as part of the Claxton's Exploration Series.
It shows the vanilla and banana character typical of aged grain whisky, followed by soft jam and oak.
The nose has strong vanilla, banana chips and apricot jam. The palate is soft and sweet, with more jam, vanilla and oak. The finish is oaky, with tannins and maize.
