Claxton's Tormore 9 Year Old Fresh Oloroso Cask Exploration Series (70cl, 50%)

This Tormore comes from the Claxton's Exploration Series. It was distilled on 28 November 2016 and matured for nine years in a fresh Oloroso hogshead. It was bottled in February 2026 at 50%, in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. The colour is a warm copper. The nose is ripe peaches, pears and vanilla, with a buttery sweetness. On the palate it is full-bodied, with citrus fruit, sweet berries and nutty sherry notes alongside light spice. The finish is long and balanced, with fine oak, gentle spice and lingering fruit.
