Clydeside – Napier (70cl, 46%)

This is a Lowland single malt from The Clydeside Distillery in Glasgow, bottled in 2024 at 6 years old in a 70cl bottle. It is matured fully in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The name honours Robert Napier, known as the Father of Clyde Shipbuilding, whose shipyard stood next to the distillery site. It is made with Scottish barley and Loch Katrine water. The nose offers ripe berries, sweet rose and tropical fruit. On the palate come orange marmalade, cherry and vanilla, followed by a warming finish of clove and ginger.
