Clynelish 12 Year Old is a single malt distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2026 by Signatory Vintage. It matured in a combination of refill Oloroso sherry and virgin oak hogsheads. The distillery is known among enthusiasts for its distinctive, almost oily character.
Bottled at 57.1% vol in the 100 Proof series, it is unchillfiltered and presented in its natural colour. The bouquet opens with bright citrus fruits such as lemon and orange, supported by sweet honey and vanilla. On the palate, the typical waxy note gives a full, almost creamy mouthfeel. The finish is medium in length, with waxy honey sweetness accompanied by fine oak spice.
