A blanco tequila from Código 1530, produced by the Perez Ocampo family at Varo Destileria in Amatitán, Jalisco. It uses fully mature Blue Weber Lowlands agave, organic yeast and volcanic-filtered water, with additive-free and Kosher certifications. The blanco rests for one month in uncharred French White Oak barrels that previously held Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, giving a natural pink colour and delicate red wine and floral notes alongside bright agave sweetness.
Tasting Notes
