Colombaio di Cencio Chianti Classico DOCG Massi del Colombaio Riserva

A Chianti Classico Riserva from the heart of Tuscany, made mainly from Sangiovese. It matures for a long time in oak barrels, developing aromatic complexity and a soft, enveloping tannic texture. In the glass it is intense ruby red, with aromas of ripe cherry, plum and spicy notes of black pepper and liquorice. The palate is full and well balanced between freshness and polished tannins, with a persistent finish. It suits traditional Tuscan dishes such as bistecca alla fiorentina or wild boar ragù.
